Quitting Smoking

By megan112682

I started smoking cigarettes when I was about 13 or 14 years old.  I’m now 25, so I’ve been smoking for more than a decade.  I grew accustomed to smoking when I was driving, talking on the phone, with my morning coffee, and especially when I was upset or bored.  It’s a really tough addiction to break because you don’t just have to deal with the physical symptoms, but the psychological as well.  You don’t really want to deal with the headaches, irritability, trouble sleeping.  But it’s also difficult to get through the anxiety, the feeling that you’re about to jump out of your skin, or that need to do something with your hands and mouth.  So you start to eat like crazy and gain weight.

Smoking is such a horrible habit, that most people finally get scared for their health and the health of their family.  But it takes an average of seven times to finally quit for good.  That might be because there are so many different products out there that are right for each individual.  There is nicotine gun, the patch, even medications.  I’ve also heard of hypnosis.  For those out there that are having trouble quitting smoking, I’ve included a link on my webpage for a great Easy Quit Smoking Program.  Click the link below to go to my webpage and see for yourself!  And good luck becoming a non-smoker!
